Founded by people who have lived it.

Led by Executive Director Sarah Ward and Director of Operations Dillon Benner, Recovery Worx was founded by people with lived experience of substance use and recovery who understood how difficult it can be to find support from someone who truly understands.

The team believes people need more than referrals or instructions. They need connection, encouragement, advocacy, practical assistance, and someone willing to walk beside them.

Recovery Worx is a nonprofit organization that provides peer recovery coaching, recovery meetings, community events, overdose prevention education, resource navigation, transportation assistance when available, support for justice-involved individuals, and connections to treatment and other recovery resources.
